Discovery​

EMS US provides transitioning soldiers a safe place to tell their story, gain insight into the civilian world of work, and meet and interact with executives for the sole purpose of helping them take the next step. They will ask challenging questions, provide honest feedback and provide suggestions in an effort to help the soldier discover what is realistic, possible, and how to get there.

Mentoring​

Our executives excel at breaking down barriers and help shape an understanding of how skills learned in the service can be applied to jobs in the civilian world. They will invest their time to understand who you are, explore your goal (both personal and professional) and provide proven wisdom on what next steps could be taken to get you on the right path for success.

Support

Volunteer executives from all parts of business and industry come together to share their insights, offer suggestions, create introductions and provide advice up to six times over three months in a one-on-one capacity. Each mentor is equipped with unique skills and talents that result in highly beneficial and well guided connection to the soldier’s transition. 

• I participated in a pilot program in which I got to interact with various CEOs and Executives in MN. This experience was very welcomed since it provides insight as to what the people running companies look for in individuals. The best portion for me though was offering feedback as to how they could better reach out to service members and talking about the Army ETS (Expiration Term of Service) process as a whole. Speaking on my experiences and how it can be better fine tuned so other service members can benefit from it is very rewarding for me on a personal level. I highly recommend others to participate in this program and I hope it continues. -SPC Garcia Paez
