A NOTE FROM OUR CEO:

As we move into spring, there’s a renewed sense of energy across the EMS community.

Our recent Women’s Event was a true highlight of the month. It was incredible to bring together such a strong group of leaders, mentors, and service members for meaningful conversation and connection. The engagement and shared experiences made it a tremendous success, and we’re grateful to everyone who helped make it happen.

Moments like these remind us of the power of community and the impact we can make together.

We’re excited to carry this momentum forward in the months ahead. Thank you for being a part of the mission.

MEET OUR NEW MENTORS:

We are excited to welcome two new mentors to the EMS community. Their experience, guidance, and commitment will help support service members as they navigate their next chapter beyond the military.

TODD EYRICK
Vice President, Information Technology, CHS

Why I want to be involved:
Having served, I understand the sacrifices that our military men and women make and want to support them in the next chapter of their careers. I feel that doing this is a way to “pay forward” all the of the people who took the time to coach and mentor me.

LORI WEEDON
Marketing Director, Chick-fil-A Burnsville

Why I want to be involved:
I have always had a special place in my heart for veterans. My husband, many of my family members, my best friend’s dad, and several of my childhood friends served. While I didn’t join the military myself, I have searched for ways to give back to these selfless souls. One such way was volunteering at the VA, and that turned out to be one of the most fulfilling things I have ever done. When my husband joined EMS-US as a founding member, I welcomed the opportunity to be a part of the group in any way possible, whether that be helping to facilitate events or the honor of being a mentor myself. What a pleasure it is to serve those who served.
