 Today, I pause not only as a Veteran who proudly served for 29 years, but as someone who continues to serve in a different way, through mentoring those who have worn the uniform and are now finding their next mission beyond it.
Veterans Day isn’t just a date on the calendar. It’s about those who raised their hand, the families who stood behind them, and the strength it takes to keep going no matter what’s asked of you. It reminds us that service doesn’t end when we take off the uniform. The leadership, resilience, and commitment we built carry forward into our families, our workplaces, and our communities. Through Executive Mentoring Soldiers, I’ve seen firsthand how those same qualities continue to shape remarkable leaders across every industry beyond the military.
